For 28 years, my family and I have proudly called District 5 home. We raised our two children through our local junior high and high schools, giving me a deep understanding of our neighborhoods, our community values, and the issues facing Santa Clarita. As a business owner for 22 years, I have worked with local, state, and federal agencies for over a decade, advocating for property rights, responsible development, sound public policy and accountable government. I understand how government works and how to achieve results through collaboration, integrity and practical solutions. I have also been a fighter pilot, followed by a successful career as an airline pilot and a credentialed high school science teacher. These experiences taught me leadership, discipline, the importance of making sound decisions under pressure and the challenges facing homeowners, families, and local businesses. I will work to strengthen public safety, improve traffic and infrastructure, protect our neighborhoods, preserve property rights, support local businesses and ensure responsible fiscal management. I respectfully ask for your vote so that, together, we can keep Santa Clarita safe, prosperous and an exceptional place to live, work and raise a family.
