Serving Santa Clarita is my passion, building on nearly three decades of service on the Santa Clarita City Council. As your Councilmember and multi-term Mayor, I've worked to keep our Saugus neighborhoods safe, financially secure, and true to their character.
We've grown budget reserves to $27 million and delivered a balanced, on-time city budget every year.
I've expanded our protected open space to 16,000 acres with a 150-mile trail system, securing a $1.4 million state grant to grow it. This includes the 720-acre Haskell Canyon Open Space with a new 380-acre bike park.
I'm leading the opposition to a poorly sited State courthouse near McBean Parkway, and I helped defeat the LA County prison proposed in Saugus.
We just completed David March Park, finished the build-out of our beautiful Central Park, and opened the Canyon Country Community Center.
There is more to do. I'll keep advocating for veterans and senior housing, work to create a Saugus community center and library, and preserve our homes and family lifestyle that makes our community special — keeping District 4 safe and thriving.
