JESSICA ANCONA has proudly served as Mayor of El Monte with a commitment to transparent leadership, fiscal responsibility, and putting our community first. As a lifelong El Monte resident, daughter of immigrants, mother, educator, and public servant, she understands our city's challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead.
For more than 25 years, JESSICA has dedicated her career to serving children and families as a teacher, school principal, and community leader. That experience continues to shape her commitment to building a stronger, safer, and more connected El Monte.
As Mayor, JESSICA has worked to strengthen public safety, support local businesses, invest in parks and public spaces, expand community events, create opportunities through workforce development and strategic partnerships, and ensure continued investment in the City's multi-year street repavement plan and other critical infrastructure improvements.
JESSICA is committed to supporting our dedicated city employees, first responders, and community organizations while continuing to invest in and protect programs and services for children, families, seniors, and veterans.
Together, we can continue building an El Monte that is safe, prosperous, and welcoming for every resident.
