I am the proud daughter of a highly decorated military veteran who retired after 23 years of service.</p><p dir=\"auto\">As a single mother, I worked hard to raise my two sons here, both of whom are college graduates. I have also been blessed with a granddaughter. Like so many families, I understand the importance of living in a community where people feel safe, supported, and proud to call home.</p><p dir=\"auto\">My career began as a legal secretary, commuting daily to Encino and the Mid-Wilshire area. For the past 18 years, I have served as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of the Palmdale School District, gaining experience in leadership, collaboration, and public service.</p><p dir=\"auto\">I have volunteered with the Chamber of Commerce; Christmas parades; PTA; Football, Hockey, and Swim Boosters; Community drives; and Measure AV Oversight Committee because I believe giving back strengthens our community.</p><p dir=\"auto\">I am running for Palmdale City Council because I believe our city can do better. I will work to improve public safety, support responsible spending, expand opportunities for our youth, and help local businesses succeed.
