Age: 47
Occupation: Educator
Lynwood, it has been an honor to serve you. During my time on the City Council, I helped secure funding to improve city facilities, supported new park amenities, recruited experienced leadership bringing stability to City Hall, balanced budgets, and attracted businesses that strengthen our economy.
I have built partnerships with schools, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations to address public safety concerns and improve quality of life.
As Mayor, educator, and mom, my priorities remain clear: keeping our community safe, delivering quality city services, and promoting economic development. At a time when many families face fears at the national level and serious public safety concerns locally, I am committed to ensuring Lynwood remains a safe, welcoming, and supportive place to live.
I am a proud product of Lynwood. After graduating from Lynwood High School, I attended Amherst College and earned a Master's Degree in Education from USC. For more than 25 years, I have served students in Lynwood schools as an educator.
My husband and I are proud homeowners in Lynwood, where we are raising our twin children, who attend Lynwood public schools. I remain committed to leading with integrity, fiscal responsibility, and a vision that puts Lynwood families first.
