My name is Leonard Redway, and as a current District 1 Commissioner, longtime Inglewood resident, community advocate, single parent, and business owner, I am prepared to represent your voice at City Hall.
I have firsthand experience, professional training, and a deep commitment to addressing the issues that matter most to our residents. As your Councilmember, my priorities will include improving public safety in our District, reducing crime, easing traffic congestion, adjusting parking permitting, limiting excessive billboards, and ensuring residents receive reliable city services.
We should not have to sit in overwhelming traffic just to get home. Our neighborhoods should be safe, clean, and protected. City government should be transparent, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves.
As a Director of Facilities and Public Safety at a cultural institution, I manage safety operations, emergency response, facilities, construction projects, and essential services. That experience has prepared me to advocate for safer communities and better management of city resources.
Please vote Leonard Redway for Inglewood City Council, District 1.
