Occupation: Healthcare Provider/City Councilmember
Huntington Park is my home. For more than 30 years, I have lived in this community, attended our local schools, and dedicated myself to serving the residents of our city. It has been an honor to serve as your City Councilmember, and I remain committed to protecting taxpayers, strengthening our neighborhoods, and putting residents first.
I have delivered results:
- As Mayor, I eliminated over $1 million in unnecessary special-interest contracts, ensuring taxpayer dollars were spent responsibly.
- Maintain balanced city budgets that protected programs for seniors and families.
- Supported bringing new businesses, including Target, Ross, Smart & Final, CVS, and Raising Cane's, creating jobs and expanding shopping opportunities.
- Helped secure funding to improve local parks and Senior and Youth programs at Veterans Park, Circle Park, Keller Park, and the Salt Lake Park Recreation Center.
I voted against unnecessary fees on homeowners who rent-out rooms or ADUs, and I opposed giving the City Manager authority to spend up to $300,000 without City Council approval because accountability and transparency matter.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Political Science from Mount Saint Mary's University and a Master's Degree in International Studies from Chapman University. I respectfully ask for your vote so we can continue moving Huntington Park forward together.
Thank you and God Bless.
