Born to hardworking migrant and immigrant parents, she learned the values of perseverance, compassion, and service from an early age.</p><p dir=\"auto\">A graduate of Maxson Elementary, Kranz Intermediate, and Mountain View High School, Ana Elsa has dedicated her career to serving others through public health education and community outreach. Through her work with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, she has helped protect families during major public health emergencies, including the HlN1 influenza pandemic, measles outbreaks, and the COVID-19 pandemic. She also supported disaster relief efforts for families affected by the Altadena and Pacific Palisades wildfires, providing assistance and resources during times of crisis.</p><p dir=\"auto\">Ana Elsa believes strong neighborhoods are built through responsive leadership, public safety, quality education, economic opportunity, support for local businesses, and investments in parks and programs for youth and seniors.
