I, Hovanes Tonoyan, a lifelong Burbank resident, graduated from Burbank High School, studied political science at UC Berkeley, and dedicated my entire career to public service and our local industries.
I will be attending USC for my MBA, Class of 2029.
I am running for City Council on a simple promise: preserve what makes Burbank special, protect the services residents count on, and transform our city thoughtfully for the next generation.
That means public safety that is prepared and responsive.
Water and power rates families can afford.
A budget that keeps your money in your pocket.
Housing decisions that respect existing neighborhoods while giving renters real protections and young families a way to stay.
A city hall that is transparent and accountable.
What makes me different? I never give up.
In 2024, with no political machine behind me, 5,670 of our fellow neighbors rose up and voted for me.
Talk about a power move.
For 2026, with three seats open, we finish the mission.
In the face of county, state, and federal overreach, our city needs an advocate more than ever.
