It is made of tenants, families, immigrants, and every individual that lives, works, and contributes here.</p><p dir=\"auto\">I've lived in Burbank with my family for over a decade. My kids attended BUSD schools from elementary through high school. I'm a proud member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild, IATSE Local 700, and have worked at many Burbank studios.</p><p dir=\"auto\">Costs are too high, particularly for rent and home ownership. Services aren't meeting the needs of many residents, including public transit and youth programs. We can make better policy choices that ease the burden for everyone.</p><p dir=\"auto\">For years, I've worked to advocate rent stabilization and broaden tenant protections as a member of the Burbank Tenants Union, organized to defend our community from ICE and mass surveillance as a leader of Burbank Community Defense, and pushed our city to have better services that benefit all.</p><p dir=\"auto\">Our city is stuck between the needs of the community and the greed of the powerful. I don't take money from landlords, corporations, fossil fuel companies, or law enforcement.
